STAR PARTIES:

You may receive extra credit for going to a local star party.  Star Parties are hosted by the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History's Astronomical Unit (our local Astronomy Club) and admission is free.  Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early.  Star parties are usually the second Saturday of each month.  Click here to see the Star Party Schedule (check the next link for correct dates).  You may also view the museum's on-line calendar, or call the museum for information at 805-682-4711 x405.  Click here for Directions to the Museum.   To receive credit, you will need to answer the questions given below.  Be sure to sign any extra credit sign in sheets that may be provided.

LECTURE CREDIT = 10 points
      (Point breakdown: 4 pts for signing in at the observatory + 6 pts for answering the questions)
