VIDEO ACTIVITY (PBS Stephen Hawking's Universe):

Credit will be awarded for viewing one of a series of videos titled Stephen Hawking's Universe. The videos take a look at science and astronomy as presented by Stephen Hawking. The videos are at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) in the library. You will need to ask for the PBS "Steven Hawking's Universe" video series (call numbers for each program given below). You only need to watch ONE of the videos of the series to receive credit for this assignment.  You may watch any one of these for extra credit.  You do not need to go by the numbers and watch the first one if you are more interested in one of the others. 

You must watch the video at the SBCC Learning Resource Center (LRC) next to the library, and be sure to use YOUR student ID to sign in and sign out.  To receive credit, you must sign in and sign out for THIS specific video.  A short one page essay summarizing your thoughts and impressions must be turned in during class (do not email this to me).  The essay should be close to a full page (but no longer than one page), typed, printed, and turned in during class.  Give your name and class at the upper right.  Be sure to submit your own original work.  All materials submitted will be run through our plagiarism detection service.
