Happy Holidays to all!!!

      Holidays ! 

"Little" Anya joined us on Thursday April 6, 2000 at 8:25 am after a 29 hour labor.  It was a grand entrance, full of energy and excitement!  The picture to the lower left was taken when she was ten hours old.

 At 8 months, she is beginning to look "all grown up"!!!

We began the new "millennium" in the small town of Pescadero near the tip of Baja California.  It was a great adventure, driving and camping all the way while Ursula was pregnant!  A bit bumpy, but a wonderful family adventure visiting Ursula's sister Eva and Telly as they traveled about in their camper.
Our next big adventure for the year was to visit Grandma Linda (and Panos) on the Mediterranean coast of Greece, and Grandpa Burke (and Marina) in Rome Italy!  At three months this was definitely a world traveling bebe!

We finished up the year with a great adventure to Yosemite!  We hiked in snow blizzards, camped in a pop-up trailer, and warmed up by the spectacular fire at the Ahwanee hotel!   

Anya was a real trooper!  She had her own all-terrain gear!  She even took a nap on the hike to Vernal Falls, while the rest of us huffed and puffed...
